Richard2RICHARD NOLTE graduated from the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho, with a degree in economics and minor studies in philosophy and religion. After joining the U. S. Navy and attending flight school, his first assignment was flying jet aircraft off the aircraft carrier Intrepid. During the next year and a half, he flew 200 missions over North Vietnam and was awarded twenty-three air medals, including the Navy commendation, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, and the Distinguished Flying Cross.

After his military service he became an airline pilot and invested in business ventures which eventually allowed him to pursue the occupation he always wanted. He and his wife Diana now own and operate a horse and cattle ranch in western Idaho in the foothills of the Cascade mountain range.

His experiences in the war caused him to cry out to the Lord for understanding and enlightenment concerning his participation in war and other life issues. The Lord heard his cry and over the years answered those prayers. This work is the result of that search.
